For the benefit of our clients and us, we do not use verbal quotes as the basis for providing services or products. While we may initially provide an informal quote via email, or a general estimate of our fees via telephone or in person, in each case we reference that a formal quote is available upon request and would be provided before services can begin or products are released. Our formal quote process is very efficient and we are more than happy to provide immediate turnaround of a quote.

In almost all cases, we require that a client sign our standard quote form without modification prior to the commencement of services or release of products. Most standard quotes are one page or less, although an alternative version is up to several pages long to provide more detailed information about the project scope and our capabilities. In limited cases (such as government agencies, public universities, etc.), we may be willing to utilize the contract vehicle of the client. However, it is likely that we would require the inclusion of certain legal provisions. Our company staff includes legal counsel, which results in quick review of proposed language modifications or third-party contract vehicles.

We are always willing to sign reasonable client confidentiality agreements, as we believe that collected data and other survey information is the sole property of the client. Such agreements can supplement our standard contract language.

In almost all cases, we require a 50% deposit to begin work on a project. Where our client is another research organization, advertising agency, or other entity that is not the end user of our services or products, timely payment to us cannot be based on when our client receives payment from its own client. Each client is solely responsible to pay us on a timely basis. Payment can be made by corporate check or wire transfer or, if we agree in our sole discretion, via credit card using our online payment center. In such case, we reserve the right to increase the project fee by the amount of the credit card processing fees.

In limited instances, where we are unable to satisfy ourselves that a client has the financial resources to make timely payment, we may require that the client pay 100% of our fees in advance or provide a personal guarantee.
