Organizations need to recruit and retain good employees, have employees work hard on behalf of the organization, and draw on the experiences and expertise of employees to move the organization forward. By adopting a regular schedule of job related surveys (such as annual job satisfaction surveys), an organization can gain a clearer picture of what HR adjustments are needed and gauge the impact of intervention programs.
Amplitude Research® can provide your organization with a full-service solution including study design, questionnaire writing, data collection, and detailed analytics with a comparison of results from year-to-year administrations. We can also establish an initial baseline unique to your organization and/or utilize normative scoring indexes (benchmarks) for comparison with national norms.
We conduct our own Best Practices Studies on the design and administration of employee satisfaction surveys, and publish related White Papers on such subjects as Conducting Successful Online Surveys and Why Measure Job Satisfaction. Also see our Article appearing in Best Practices in HR magazine discussing why online employee surveys are cost-effective, can result in more candid and reliable feedback, and may also increase response rates.
All baseline projects and wave-to-wave comparisons include the services of one of our statisticians or Ph.D. researchers. Amplitude utilizes the well known Job Descriptive Index (JDI) and Job in General Scale (JIG) to measure overall employee job satisfaction in relation to national benchmarks. These indexes are exclusively offered online by Amplitude Research® through its Normative Express® diagnostic scoring system developed in cooperation with the industrial/organizational program at Bowling Green State University (BGSU), the creator and ongoing monitor of the JDI and JIG.
